Day 239

Today Mama loaded the car (every square inch of it) and she and Temu headed to New Jersey to Uncle Mike's house for Thanksgiving.  Daddy stayed home, having to work nights all week in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit).  We certainly didn't want to be apart on our first Thanksgiving, but with daddy's hours (work all night, sleep most of the day), it seemed to work out for the best.  The glamorous life of residency at its best! This was also Temu's chance to see Grandma Sharon and Papa Ivan.
Before we left Daddy rigged up a system so that Temu could watch his home movies while on the road.  We did order a legit iPad-head-rest-holder, but it didn't show up in time for the trip.  Amazing what you can do with a ziploc, though.

We arrived safe and sound with just one stop somewhere in NY.  Temu slept a little, played a little, and mostly just ooh-ed and aah-ed at all the trucks and cars going by.
