Today was a great day - it was sunny and daddy was home ALL day! This hasn't happened in 10 days, so we were all really glad to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together all in the same day. Unfortunately, the day did start with a puffy lip.
The little guy took a small spill on the sidewalk in front of our porch. In retrospect it's sort of surprising something like this didn't happen sooner in his toddling days. Temu's recovery time was much shorter than Mama's (who was extra-glad that Daddy was around to assess the situation).
Soon after we went for a walk and found some milkweed pods to play with and some steps to climb up and "dune" (that's Temu-speak for "down").
In the afternoon, everyone took a nap. After Temu woke up he borrowed Daddy's phone to catch up on his texting. (Mama loves these photos).
It's funny (and a little scary) how well Temu operates our Iphones; check out his swift finger swipe as he goes through his favorite photos.
