Day 286

Today Daddy went to work and Mama and Temu went to church.  The church is small and everyone seems to know one another, so you can imagine that Temu and I were spotted as newcomers immediately. Today was Epiphany, so the priest spoke a bit about baptism, and the water used.  At one point in the service she took a brush, dabbed it in the water, and sprayed a bit on everyone to represent re-baptism.  Most people flinched when the water hit them and there was quite a bit of laughter among the congregants.   Well, everyone was watching as the priest neared the back pew where we were standing.  She sprayed Temu, then asked if he wanted it again....surprise, Temu looked at her, smiled, said, "More!" and the whole congregation laughed.   Needless to say, he added a few new members to his fan club today.  He also found the kneelers extremely useful when checking out what was happening in front.
