Today was Ethiopian Christmas, so "melkam genna!" or "merry Christmas!". Temu, using his dual citizenship to benefit from dual Christmases, got himself a new set of hand puppets.
This evening Shelley made doro wat, a traditional Ethiopian dish. It was delicious!
Later in the day we went grocery shopping at the River Valley Co-op where they have Temu-sized carts. This was fun, but required non-stop 1 on 1 parenting to avoid disaster. Temu kept filling up his cart with soft cheeses. Fortunately he never rammed the wine display.
