Today is Daddy's birthday! He had to work, but mommy and Temu visited him at the hospital where the nurses ooohed and aahed at the little guy! He put on his best smile and did his best high-fives. Later on Grandma Ginger came to visit from Wisconsin. We took Daddy out for mexican food and to Temu's delight, a cheese quesedilla was his 2nd dinner of the night.
Birthday.....Ice-Cream Sandwich?! Although mommy was ready and willing to bake any item the birthday boy asked for, his request was ice cream sandwiches. So, a batch of chocolate chip-m&m-pecan cookies later we had birthday ice cream sandwiches. The challenge, of course, was where to put the candles.
Six candles? Yes, the first 3 (according to Matt) are for Mommy, Daddy, and Temu. The other 3 are for our dear friends - LW, JB, and TB - who are in Ethiopia right now celebrating Gotcha Day today!
