Day 158

Today Temu started the day by "gearing up" for our trip to Wisco next week - Daddy's hat is a little big on him but still in the Bucky-spirit!

While Daddy was home we ventured to Southampton to check out 3 new parks/nature areas.  We found a great new trail to hike with one of the most amazing vines we'd ever seen (photos below) and a ridiculous variety of mushrooms growing on the forest floor.  Don't worry, he didn't even try to eat the mushrooms.

As per any outdoor experience, Temu is hands-on.

Towards the end of our hike we met a very friendly couple (who also had a DOG with them - Temu nearly jumped off of Mama's shoulders).  They pointed us in the direction of a beautiful stream, which we had seen from the trail.  The water was crystal clear - next time we visit we will bring our swim suits!
