Today it hit me that Temu is not a baby anymore.
He's starting to eat his food off of a plate (rather than directly off the table) and his first instinct is to pick up the food and eat it (not throw the plate across the kitchen).
He's also decided that he no longer wants his food in small bits; he prefers larger bites. This morning, while we (Temu and mama) shared a muffin, he took a small piece from his plate, placed it on mine, and then took one of my (larger) bites. Okay, I get it. Big boy bites from now on.
He also took a spin on his new big-boy bike this afternoon. He squealed and clapped in-between moving it along Flintstone-style and ringing the bell.
That's our big, one-year old boy!
